I have the honour to transmit a Memorial addressed to Your Lordship by Mr. J. W. Lee-Jones, Deputy Registrar and Accountant in the Supreme Court, on the subject of the appointment of Mr. J. H. Kemp, Deputy Registrar and Appraiser, to act as Registrar of the Supreme Court and as Official Trustee and Official Receiver in Bankruptcy during the absence on leave of Mr. A. Seth, Registrar of the Supreme Court, and of Mr. G. H. Wakeman, Land Officer and Official Trustee and Receiver in Bankruptcy.

In this connection I beg to refer Your Lordship to the Despatches noted in the margin.

Mr. Wakeman left the Colony before Mr. Seth and Mr. Kemp was appointed to act as Official Trustee and Receiver at the suggestion of the Registrar of the Supreme Court and of the Judges.
